Zorva Labs vs GoDaddy
Domain registrar + website builder + email + hosting bundle · $10–$40/mo (with upsells)
GoDaddy is convenient because everything bundles — domain, hosting, email, builder — into one bill. But every part of the stack is mid-tier: SEO defaults are weak, the builder produces template-bound sites, and the bundled email is notorious for deliverability issues. Here's the side-by-side.
Who's better off with GoDaddy.
GoDaddy is fine for buying a domain and parking it. For a real business site, the builder is a ceiling — you'll outgrow it within a year. The good news: you can keep your domain at GoDaddy and just point it at a Zorva-built site (we handle the DNS).
Where GoDaddy wins.
- Cheap entry point (~$10/mo for builder)
- Bundles domain + hosting + email under one invoice
- Huge customer support volume (good for very common issues)
- If you already own domains there, friction-free DNS
Where Zorva Labs wins.
- Hand-coded site that hits 95+ on mobile PageSpeed (vs GoDaddy builder's 40–70)
- True ownership of the code and design
- $57/mo all-in beats GoDaddy's realistic with-upsells price
- Email through Google Workspace (we set it up) — actually deliverable
- Domain stays at GoDaddy — we just point DNS at our edge hosting
- All 38 SEO checks pass by default

Common questions
Can I keep my domain at GoDaddy?
Yes. We don't transfer the domain — we just update the DNS records to point at our hosting. Your domain registration stays at GoDaddy, your billing for the domain stays where it is. We handle the technical DNS change.
What about my GoDaddy email?
We migrate you to Google Workspace ($6–$12/user/mo) as part of the build. Workspace deliverability is dramatically better than GoDaddy Workspace email, which routinely lands in spam.
Is the GoDaddy builder really that bad?
Not bad if you just want something online. But the JavaScript-heavy templates cap mobile PageSpeed in the 50–70 range, which directly costs Google ranking. For local commercial-intent searches, that ceiling matters a lot.
