05.04Reputation & reviews

Reviews are the ranking factor customers can read.

Reviews decide map-pack rankings, AI recommendations and whether the phone rings. A steady flow of genuine reviews, answered promptly, across the platforms that matter is a system — and we run it.

The problem

Great work, four reviews

Businesses that do excellent work often have a fraction of the reviews of mediocre competitors, because asking is awkward and nobody owns it. The one-star review from two years ago sits unanswered. Prospects — and AI engines — read the silence as a verdict.

Questions

Reputation & Reviews, answered.

Is it allowed to ask customers for reviews?
Yes — asking is allowed and expected. Offering incentives, gating (only asking happy customers), or writing reviews yourself is not. Our programs ask every customer the same way and comply with each platform's policy.
Should I respond to negative reviews?
Always, quickly and calmly. A measured response shows every future reader how you handle problems, and it often leads to the review being updated. We draft responses for your approval on anything sensitive.
Can you remove bad reviews?
Only reviews that violate a platform's policies can be flagged for removal, and we do that. Legitimate negative reviews cannot be removed — they are answered and outweighed by volume.
Do reviews affect AI recommendations?
Strongly. AI engines lean on review counts, ratings and the language in reviews when recommending local businesses, and they often quote them. Reviews are corroboration the models trust.
