A live link index is asked for your domain's profile, its strongest thousand referring domains, one representative link from each and the links lost in the last months. Every domain is then read by the same written rules the full audit uses — spam vocabulary, pages that link out to hundreds of sites, sitewide sales-phrase anchors, foreign-language pages, abused domain endings, shared hosting clusters, bursts of domains born the same week with the same anchor — and counted into tiers.

Fails outright means a decisive rule fired — the kind of thing no honest link trips, such as gambling vocabulary in the anchor or a page linking out to three hundred sites. Borderline means softer signals added up and the domain has to be decided one by one, by a person. The check gives you the counts and five examples; the audit reads every line.
