What Google actually wants in 2026

Five rules every title has to follow.

  1. 50–60 characters. Under 50 leaves SERP real estate on the table. Over 60 truncates with “…”.
  2. Primary keyword in the first 30 chars. Google weights early-position terms heavily.
  3. Separator structure. “Primary phrase | Brand” or “Primary phrase · City” — never run-on prose.
  4. Unique per page. Duplicate titles across pages cannibalize rankings.
  5. No clickbait. Title-content mismatch is now a quality signal — Google penalizes it directly.

Descriptions follow the same shape: 150–160 chars, one concrete benefit, one call-to-action verb (call, book, get, request). Every variant this tool returns is re-checked server-side against these rules before it's shown to you.
