Scan a website

No login, no email. The home page, a service page and a post, read the way Google and the AI engines read them: titles, schema, llms.txt, crawler access, PageSpeed, the certificate, the phone number, the form, the reviews. On screen, with a public link.

01

Three pages, not one

The home page, then a service page and a post picked from the sitemap — so the scan sees whether the inner pages carry their own titles, descriptions and questions, or repeat each other with a word swapped.

02

What the engines fetch

Google PageSpeed's mobile Lighthouse run, robots.txt and which AI crawlers it lets in, llms.txt, the sitemap and its dates, the certificate on both www and apex, the http redirect, the share image, and a made-up URL to see whether missing pages really return 404.

03

Whether it earns the call

A tappable phone number, a form on the page, a call to action in the first screen, reviews or a rating, trust language, the service area. For a service business the site's job is the call, so the scan grades that too.

The 65 checks

Weighted the way the engines weigh them.

A missing title counts three times what a missing header counts. Checks that are noted but never scored (a chat option, a named person on the home page) show as info. When Google PageSpeed cannot be measured, the report says so and the score is marked provisional rather than quietly leaving performance out.

Questions

The website scan, explained.

What does the free website scan check?
It reads the home page, a service page and a post the way Google and the AI engines read them and reports on eight things: performance and Core Web Vitals from Google PageSpeed, the SEO basics (title, description, canonical, indexability, sitemap, redirects), mobile and security (the viewport, the certificate on both www and apex, HTTPS, the headers), structured data (the business node, FAQ markup that matches the page), AI search (llms.txt, which AI crawlers robots.txt lets in, extractable structure), whether the page turns a visitor into a call (a tappable number, a form, reviews, trust language), trust signals, and whether the inner pages repeat each other. Every check says what it found and how we would fix it.
How long does the scan take?
Usually thirty to sixty seconds. The pages themselves are read in a second or two; most of the wait is Google PageSpeed running a mobile Lighthouse test of your home page. If PageSpeed does not answer, the report still comes back and is marked provisional: the performance checks are left out of the score until a later scan can measure them.
Why can I only scan a domain once a month?
The scan is free and every run costs a PageSpeed test and a minute of a server, so each domain gets one scan every 30 days. A repeat inside the month shows the stored report and the date the next scan opens. If you have fixed things and want a fresh read sooner, leave your details under the result and Michael will run it by hand.
Is my scan public?
Yes. Every scan of a live public website is published at its own link, so you can send it to a developer or a colleague, and the domain joins the leaderboard with its score. Deploy previews and staging hosts are never published. To have a domain removed, email zorvalabs@gmail.com.
What score should a website get?
Every site Zorva Labs and Nashville's Web Design build has to score 95 or better on this scanner before it goes live, and the checks are the same standard those sites are built to. A score in the 80s usually means a sound site with a few gaps; below 60 means the basics are missing and the fixes will change what the site earns.
