TL;DR

Wedding Clique is a full-service wedding planning company. We built a photography-forward, mobile-first website on Zorva edge hosting with conversion-optimized inquiry funnels, complete schema markup for Service + Organization, and AI-search architecture (GEO, AIO, AEO) so couples find them across Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and voice search.

Wedding Clique is a wedding planning company serving couples planning full-scale weddings, destination weddings, and multi-day celebrations. Their audience is engaged couples (and their parents) who want a planner who can manage every detail — venue selection, vendor coordination, day-of execution, the whole production.

The brief

Wedding planning is sold on aesthetic and trust. Couples pick planners based on portfolio photos and how the planner's brand feels — does it match the wedding they imagine? Beyond the visual, they need fast answers: pricing tiers, what's included, availability, real testimonials from past couples. The previous site looked dated, loaded slowly on phones, and buried pricing.

The design — editorial, photography-forward

The new site is built around portfolio photography — every section uses real wedding imagery from past Wedding Clique events. Editorial typography pairs a modern serif display face with a clean sans for body copy. Color palette stays neutral (cream, rose gold accents, deep navy) so featured photography pops without competing.

Layout-wise, the site is a long-scroll editorial spread: hero, planner philosophy, service tiers (full-service, partial planning, day-of coordination), portfolio gallery, real testimonials with couple names, and an inquiry form weighted heavily toward serious leads — date, venue, guest count, budget range, story.

Speed — Zorva edge hosting

Wedding sites are notoriously slow because of all the photography. Zorva edge hosting serves the site from the global edge with sub-second mobile loads despite the heavy imagery. Every photo is responsively sized, served in AVIF/WebP, and lazy-loaded as the user scrolls. PageSpeed Insights mobile scores stay 95+ — well above the 40-65 typical of templated wedding-planner sites on Wix or Squarespace.

SEO — built for "wedding planner Nashville" + variations

Wedding planning is a high-intent, high-LTV (lifetime value) search category. The SEO foundation:

  • Organization + Service schema with detailed offerings per tier, price range, areaServed
  • Review schema matching every visible testimonial (real couples, real names, real ratings — not stock)
  • Page titles + meta descriptions optimized for "wedding planner Nashville", "destination wedding planner Tennessee", "full-service wedding planning", "day-of coordinator near me"
  • Long-form content per service tier — couples want to understand what they're paying for before inquiring
  • Internal linking between portfolio entries, services, and FAQs

GEO, AIO, AEO

Couples increasingly ask AI engines for vendor recommendations. The site is built to be cited:

  • GEO: citation-friendly factual content, llms.txt summary, welcoming all the major AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended).
  • AIO: FAQ schema and direct-answer paragraphs so Google's AI Overview includes Wedding Clique when couples ask "best wedding planners in Nashville."
  • AEO: Speakable markup for voice queries like "wedding planner near me."

Mobile experience

Brides plan from phones — at lunch, on the couch, between meetings. Mobile design priorities:

  • Photography optimized for vertical viewport (no awkward letterboxing)
  • Inquiry form fits in single mobile screen, fields auto-format (phone, date)
  • Click-to-call and click-to-text on every section
  • Portfolio swipeable in a way that feels native, not desktop-port

Conversion engineering

Every lead is a high-value prospect. The inquiry form is designed to qualify, not just capture: it asks venue, date, guest count, and budget. That information lets the Wedding Clique team prioritize follow-up and prepare a meaningful first call. Submission fires a Meta Pixel Lead event with custom dimensions for wedding date and budget range, plus a GA4 conversion event with the same data.

Google Analytics, Search Console, and daily reports

The site ships with full Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console integration on day one — verified domain ownership, sitemap auto-submitted, conversion events wired, and proper traffic-source attribution. The Wedding Clique team doesn't have to set up or maintain any of it.

A daily traffic digest email arrives at 7 AM CT — yesterday's sessions, top pages, traffic sources, inquiry submissions, and search impressions. Plus a monthly digest on the 1st of each month covering month-over-month trends. Twenty seconds of reading, full visibility, zero dashboards.
